KATANA Safety’s 24/7 Response Center is notified when an alert is triggered. At home or on the go, the 24/7 Response Center knows your location and can dispatch emergency services if necessary. While 911 is only for true emergencies, the 24/7 Response Center can be used anytime.
Response Center Capabilities:
|1. Will stay on the phone until you feel safe||2. Can locate you during an alert|
|3. Can call local emergency services on your behalf||4. Will activate notifications to your Circle of Safety|
What happens if there is no answer when the Response Center calls?
As soon as an alert is triggered, the Response Center will call you. If there is no answer, the following voicemail will be left: “This is KATANA Safety. We received a mobile alert from (User’s Name), please return our call at 800-358-2669. If we cannot reach you, we will contact your Circle of Safety and Dispatch to your last known location.” After the voicemail is left, a second call will be attempted. At this point, if no answer again, the appropriate Emergency Services will be dispatched. The Circle of Safety will be notified via text that an alert has been triggered, help has been dispatched, and they will be provided the location.
