How to recycle your old KATANA Safety Mini
When the battery in your existing KATANA Safety Mini is running low, KATANA will send you or your program administrator a replacement device.
Upon receiving this new device, we kindly ask you to return your old device so we can repurpose it and put it back into circulation.
This is a step-by-step guide on how to do so.
Step 1
Disconnect Your Old KATANA Safety Mini
Open the KATANA Safety App
Click the menu ≡ icon in the top left corner and navigate to “Devices”.
Once there, select the device you would like to disconnect, and press “Disconnect Device”.
Step 2
Package Your Old KATANA Safety Mini
Inside the red bubble mailer there should be a return shipping label you can use to ship back your old device.
Start by removing the contents of the envelope and replacing them with your old device.
Adhere the new shipping label over the existing label and tape the envelope closed.
Step 3
Ship Your Old KATANA Safety Mini
Once complete, drop your old device off at work or a designated postal service.
